Released at Revision 2013, this is our first 64k for 2013. Although we had a few months to prepare for this since the previous party (from August ’12 to April ’13) we didn’t actually start until 2 weeks before the deadline.

We didn’t change anything in our demo system this time, and just focused on the content (effects, direction, soundtrack). Izard created a nicely distorted soundtrack and since Izard’s girlfriend had created nice sweaters with prints of ribbons on it we thought it would be cool to include ribbons in our 64k too. So I created an effect with twirling ribbons using distance fields. This was then also used in some other scenes, together with things as realtime reflections, refractions and soft shadows.

In the end we didn’t have enough time to fully polish everything, so the end result is a little bit rough. We ended at 4th place in the 64k competition.
