Helix is a small demo of only 64kbytes in size. It was our (Inque‘s, the demo-group I’m in) contribution to the Takeover 2001 64k intro competition. We ended up at the 2nd place.
The demo has a computer generated soundtrack (made using our muziekbakker software synthesizer engine), procedurally generated textures (made using an early version of our textureer/gentex texture engine) and a few computer generated effects.
Btw, you might wonder why the loading takes quite some time. That’s because Helix pre-renders its whole soundtrack and textures during the loading.
